Be a Student Volunteer today

SIGGRAPH is making its entry into the Asian continent. From 10-13 December, the inaugural SIGGRAPH Asia 2008 Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques will take place in Singapore.

Take the opportunity to be part of this historic event! Go behind the scenes and work as an integral part of the first SIGGRAPH conference outside the US. You will get the chance to meet and learn directly from industry professionals, artists, and teachers while assisting conference attendees and supporting conference programmes and events.

As a Student Volunteer, you have admission to the SIGGRAPH Asia 2008 programmes and many special Student Volunteer events in your free time. You can also mingle with other computer graphics and interactive techniques enthusiasts to broaden your horizons.

Are you a high school, vocational, polytechnic, undergraduate or graduate student who is enrolled full-time for at least one semester during the 2008-2009 academic year and at least 18 years of age? Don’t miss this chance – apply to be a Student Volunteer!

You can choose to work either 18 or 30 hours (approximately) during the conference cycle. Volunteers from outside Singapore who are willing to work at least 30 hours can also apply for complimentary lodging in Singapore for the duration of the conference. In addition, all applicants are eligible to apply for the Travel Assistance Awards which offer financial help for travel to and from the conference.
